Sustainability

Committed To Net-Zero

Leading the charge towards a greener future.

We believe that doing the right thing for our clients goes hand-in-hand with doing the right thing for the environment.

We are founding signatories in the Techies-Go-Green movement, and have signed up to the internationally established Climate Pledge, co-founded by Global Optimism and Amazon, to achieve net-zero by 2040.

Our sustainability goals.

We have committed to achieve net-zero by 2040, and to support this endeavour we are following the principles set out in The Climate Pledge agreement.

Regular reporting

Measure and report greenhouse gas emissions on a regular basis.

Carbon elimination

Implement decarbonisation strategies in line with the Paris Agreement.

Credible offsets

Neutralise any remaining emissions with additional, quantifiable, real, permanent, and socially beneficial offsets.

We're already making great progress.

Reaching net-zero demands a focus on incremental improvements, and we’ve already implemented significant steps along that journey.

  • Installed solar panels and a storage battery at our main office.
  • Switched all lighting to LED.
  • Invested in recycling points.
  • Switched to a fully green renewable electricity provider.
  • Switched to a fully carbon offset ‘green’ gas provider.
  • Insulated our roofing and clad our exterior walls.
  • Set up the Octopus Energy electric car scheme for our team.

“ET Works is a great example of how companies can work toward net-zero while reducing costs and their carbon emissions. Prior to this project they had already implemented several sustainability initiatives, including an LED strategy, recycling points throughout their building, and a building insulation project. The company has also worked with their energy supplier to fully offset the emissions associated with their gas usage. They will be moving to a 100% renewable electricity contract in March 2025 to cover their remaining electricity requirements beyond the energy generated by the new solar panels.”
